Ten Nepalese women between 24 and 38 years of age who were forced to work in semi-slavery conditions in the town of Candeleda, Ávila, in a company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of packaged products and foods, have been freed in an operation carried out by the Civil Guard in collaboration with the Labor and Social Security Inspection.In the operation, which was completed on October 2, the Civil Guard arrested three people, the two top executives of the company involved and a member of the organization that illegally introduced the Nepalese women into Spain.
